Sometimes I think god shows us different types of people to test your humility. Because when you start to think you are bigger and above them --which even if that is the truth-- it doesn't mean you are invincible. You are still as every bit vulnerable as any other next to you, beside you, in front of you or behind you.
Stick and stones break bones and words cut, even though they are not supposed to.
God prepares these lessons to teach us strength and endurance, and also to remind us that we are nothing without Him.
I have a million retorts, rebukes, defences and excuses. But I now put myself in His Hands, to give me strength to keep a dignified silence.
I also ask, most humbly, to ease those cuts a little.
Life should NOT have to be so difficult. But obstacles remind us of what our blessings are, so there is a silver lining in every cloud.
