those who say that money should not be a priority, are from people who are have too much of it, or too little of it.
life is about prioritizing. it is about time management. and life circles around our family, our friends, our pets, our work.
but that's the difference. when you are a student, you have a job. when you are an adult, you have a career. you cant afford to breeze through life because quite simply you just have bigger bills to pay.
sometimes, we choose to place work above friends and family simply because we cant afford to do otherwise. and yes! i know all the theories about no one's last wish being 'i wished i worked harder' and everyone always says 'i wish is spent more time with this and that'
and sometimes i choose family over friends because duh, it's family. enough said.
and sometimes i choose friends over other things because without friends you will just lose your sanity.
it's about choices. and if you are fine with making those choices, go right ahead and bugger anyone off who tells u otherwise. and for those who say money isnt everything, they are right. but money sure makes the world a little easier.
it's not like we're talking about being obscenely rich!
it is never enough. but if you know how to be contented and ambitious at the same time, you're on the right track.
