caught season of the witch on the big screen last night. for some reason, i was expecting a fantasy with dragons and werewolves. what i got was very different, a horror!
now, it's been a long time since i watched a horror show. thankfully, this show was good.and the plot was engaging, the focus was not on ghosts or cgi effects that so many of today's horrors focus on. so it wasnt like i was cringing the whole time and covering my eyes.
and i thought the storyline was great! but spoiler alert! the cgi effect chosen for the ending, which was supposed to be the scariest part of all,was just.. lame. i literally went'huh! this is the demon??'
claire foy was enchanting though. i think i have a new crush now. ;)
well,it's 2011. year started out ok, loads of unexercised potential. thank goodness cny is just round e corner. it's almost like a 2nd chance.
