trials and tribulations.

i bought a crime fiction book the other day, which involves murder and morality and was engrossed with it over the last few days. from the start, it was obvious that the main suspect was not the killer, and the other possible suspects seemed unlikely. i was certain of some things, yet unsure about some facts, therefore i was very eager to get to the ending to find out the truth.

and i was very disappointed by it. i thought it was weak, it's akin to watching a movie and the ending makes you go ' whattttt????'

haha. ohwell, good while it lasted i suppose.

i realise it's a lot like life.

it's like, you have absolute knowledge about certain facts, yet extreme confusion over others. and when u look forward to something, sometimes it lets u down. when u place ur hopes on something or in someone, more often it's gonna get dashed. and when u expect something, you're gonna get disappointed.

so sometimes the ending sucks, but it's good while it lasts too.

dont you ever wish sometimes that you can wipe your whole slate clean and start afresh?
so u can undo some of your misdeeds, and past mistakes will not ever haunt you again, or worse, embarrass you.
and then you can move forward without the weight of ur past being burdened on your shoulders.

ok yes i know then you wouldnt be the same person as u are now etc etc.
i thought of the perfect solution. just erase their memories!

the weekend was pretty relaxing in a very tensed sort of way. so ironic i know. well it was relaxing as it was spent swimming at ritz for a friend's birthday, ( or soaking more like), only had one appointment scheduled, played table tennis, lazed in bed and basically R and R the whole weekend.
and tense because of.. hmm.. you know, sometimes we idiots just think too much so u cant relax wholeheartedly.

so anyway, a new week is ahead. let's hope this week is fulfilling and we dont behave in such a way that paragraph 1 applies.

the randoms, the rants and the rambles.

so im back from japan relatively unscathed. opened eyes to new cultures of no tattoos at hot springs because of a certain notorious gang there, walked in temperatures of under 10 degrees which doesnt seem so cold but it's freezing because of the wind, laughed at all the buildings with the square windows, got amazed by the sheer crowds at the subway and the comprehensiveness of it all, and all in all, had a great time with santori whiskeys and of course the mountains of udon and ramens.

my next holiday - bring back the sun and the sand and the sea!

celebrated the marshmallow lover's birthday at jumbo seafood with woohoo yummy mee goreng ( yes i know mee goreng at jumbo??) and crabs followed by a hilarious night out at lobby when i broke into my first cake cutting attempt.
see jo i gave u my virginity. ;)

so it's back to work! it isnt so bad, i give thanks for lovely clients and try to see some good in the horrible ones. and what's that they say abt stick and stones and words? yup, better bear it in mind.

friend's wedding at merchant court hotel made me all wistful and misty eyed and the romance of it all. yeah i know, jem and romance arent exactly very complementary but i always love seeing couples getting hitched and you know, a symbol of a whole life ahead and all that.

the media is just filled with too many stories of infidelity. and what on earth was that director thinking?? or rather, what on earth were the girls thinking! haha

haha oops.just when u thought jem had really turned into a saint huh? sorry folks, there's still some of the old blood left in me yet!
no la kidding. ive heard many compliments about my what was it again? faithfulness.

Lamborghini! Without a doubt! soft top! why.. for asthetic reasons. haha

huh? what kind of question is this? None! my fantast is to ride a dragon and get an elf to fall in love with me!

Great Dane! i love monster dogs. although dalmatian is quite cute too.

Uh.. a lion? or a tiger? any big cat. i love their big furry paws.
